Personal hub for World of Tanks built on VILT stack
This project started as a vibe-coded endeavor to learn more about the VILT stack (thus it lives on the VILT repo). I had been tracking my progress towards certain goals in the video game, World of Tanks, in a series of Google Sheets and decided to use that as the basis for this project. It was amazing how quickly I was able to get a well-functioning prototype in place (that I immediately began using). Since the vibe-coded phase I have been digging into the code and sorting out some of the vibe residue while learning lots about the VILT stack. I am thoroughly impressed with the Inertia.js part of things and Vue.js is quickly earning my respect - though it forces one to think from a different perspective. This project has truly been beneficial for my understanding of what to watch out for with AI-augmented coding. Consistency of approaches to similar problems is lacking somewhat, lots of unnecessary comments pollute the code, and plenty of overkill techniques that do little other than provide code rot. I enjoy rooting those things out though, so I am enjoying this project quite a bit. I won't stop until I can claim ownership and truly state I have exercised judgment over every part of the site.
